We have 6 periods of 50 minutes every day, making 30 periods in the week. There is a Hometeam (tutor time) period of 30 minutes from Monday - Friday. Break (20 minutes) is between Periods 3 and 4 and lunch (30 minutes) is between Periods 4 and 5.
School starts at 8:25am and finishes at 2:50pm for Year 7 & Year 8, and 2:55pm for Year 9 and Year 10.
On three days each year, Years 7-10 have their own PSHCEE Days that are specifically designed to cover aspects of PHSCEE that cannot be delivered through other lessons. These days often involve outside agencies and guest speakers and cover issues such as drugs, bullying and careers. All students attend at least one assembly each week that is well planned which include collective worship and support the delivery of social, moral, spiritual and cultural aspects of learning, including the promotion of British values.

Every student at Bradford Forster Academy has the opportunity to take part in a range of free enrichment clubs activity on most nights of the week after school and during lunchtimes. These sessions are planned and run to ensure that the curriculum is extended and other important skills for outside of the classroom are embedded.
